Yes, we are hiring...
Tradebot expects to hire 1 to 4 new associates per month, primarily in the areas of equity trading and software development.
At Tradebot we focus on three core attributes:
- Aptitude - things move so quickly, you need to be smart and logical to absorb it fast enough
- Character - the stuff you learned in Kindergarten, the Golden Rule, be trustworthy, play nice, etc.
- Enthusiasm - like a professional sports team, we must be world-class in order to compete
All positions
- are located in Kansas City, Missouri
- require a 4 year college degree, preferably from a major state university
- are full-time with 7:30 to 3:30 as core working hours
- participate in a year-end discretionary bonus plan

The interview process is coordinated by Matt Denney (see below), Tradebot's Director of Human Resources:
- Review resume - with possible phone screen
- Informal visit - spend 30 minutes with Dave or a member of senior management
- Formal interview - meet with 4 members of our team. It takes a unanimous vote to get an offer!

Matt Denney serves as the Director of Human Resources for both Tradebot Systems and Tradebot Ventures. Matt focuses on recruiting great players to join the Tradebot team.
In 2004, after a ten year career in pharmaceutical sales, Matt founded Medical and Sales Recruiting LLC, a company focused on recruiting for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. He then turned that business over to his wife in order to join BATS Trading and eventually Tradebot Systems.
Matt holds a B.A. from the University of Missouri Kansas City and his M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University. He is married with three children and lives in Parkville, Missouri. He enjoys coaching youth athletics, riding bicycles, and volunteering at his church.
